My name is Allyson Augur, I am from McGraw, NY. Most people don't know where McGraw is, so I usually say its near Cortland. I live on a small dairy farm with my 3 siblings, parents, and grandparents. I have attended SUNY Broome for one year in the health sciences independent study hoping to be accepted into the Rad Tech program this fall. I'm easy to be around and unusually happy most of the time. I love being outdoors and have a true passion for soccer, which I also play at SUNY Broome. I'm most excited to be an RA to be able to meet new people and enjoy the experience.

My name is Delanie Madison and I am going to be a Resident Assistant at the Student Village. I graduated from Union Endicott High School in June 2013. I was the Class of 2013 Secretary for four years. I was very involved with soccer and lacrosse, playing for at least eight years on travel, junior varsity, and varsity. I decided to go to SUNY Broome to save money and get the feel of college. I am very happy with my decision and I have already had a great experience. I am very excited to be a resident assistant at the Student Village next year. I cant wait for the experience and to become close with all of the students and staff.
My name is Shaina Louis and I’m an international student from Haiti. I am majoring in nursing here at SUNY Broome. When I first came here it was more difficult to make new friends, especially because of the culture shock. Being involved on campus really helped me create connections with people that became my second family. In fact, the ISO (International Student Organization) club, Lingonet and Toastmasters as well as being a student Ambassador and a tutor helped me become a more extroverted person.
I am more than excited to be a Resident Assistant!! It’s a new experience that I will never forget. I will get to meet new people. So stop by and say hi because I would love to get to know you guys! As they say in Haiti “Na We” (See y’all !! ).
My name is Shane Smith, and I am a first year student here at SUNY Broome. I went to school at Candor and I also live there at home with my parents. Some of my hobbies include: playing guitar, drawing, readng, theater and film. After Broome, I intend to try and go to film school in hopes of harnessing my craft and becoming a well-known director!
I think that the one thing that I'm most excited about becoming an RA is the chance to experience something new. I have been living at home for all of my young adult life so far, and I feel its time for me to leave home and see what its really like to be on your own. Also the chance to meet new people will be a great opportunity as well!
