Using a Computer On Campus
Campus Computer Labs
SUNY Broome Community College has 8 general access computer labs across campus that are open for students to use when the lab is being proctored and no class is scheduled to use the equipment. The software installed on the computers vary depending on the lab, but all are equipped with the campus standard, Office 2010 (which includes Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) as well as Internet Explorer and Acrobat Reader. A listing of additional software and the corresponding lab can be found on the Information Technology Services website at https://www.sunybroome.edu/computerlabs. This site also contains lab hours and a link to a campus map for locations.
SUNY Broome Community College Network
The computers on campus are part of SUNY Broome's computer network and in order to use a computer on campus you must log in using your campus computer account username and password. Initially, this information is sent to you in the mail when you first register at SUNY Broome. You can also look up your logon information 
online by visiting the MyCollege website at https://mycollege.sunybroome.edu and click on the link for Username /Password Look-Up.You will be prompted to enter either your Social Security Number or Broome ID and your date of birth.
Wireless Internet Access
If you have your own laptop or mobile device that you would like to use to access the Internet on campus, SUNY Broome has wireless access available in designated areas. The link below will give you additional information regarding wireless connectivity on campus.
